General Questions

  • What is VR?

VR or Virtual Reality is the use of computer technology to create a simulated environment. Unlike traditional user interfaces, VR places the user inside an experience. Instead of simply viewing a screen in front of them, users are immersed in the experience.

  • Why is YanksVR different?

YanksVR is next evolution of another of our web properties; Yanks.com. Many of the same things that have made Yanks special since 2002 also makes YanksVR special. Besides the cutting edge VR tech used here, we produce our content with the same mindset. This attitude is represented in our tenets (which you can find in the footer at the bottom of this page). Chief among them is that we are 100% female produced.

  • What do I need to watch VR?

You will need three things to view VR videos:

    • 1. A headset. If you use the a later version VR device, the headset will act as the display in which to view your videos. In the case of Google Cardboard and Samsung Gear, you will secure your phone in the device in front of your eyes, and the phone will be used as a display.
    • 2. A PC on which you will run the movie player needed to view your content OR smartphone on which you will run the app needed to view your content. Go to the specific help page of the device you have to find out the phone you need for Samsung Gear or Google Cardboard OR the specifications of the PC you need to run the Oculus Rift or HTC Vive. Later devices do not require a PC.
    • 3. An app on the phone,a player on your PC or an app on your headset to play the movie. Go to the specific help page of the device you have to find out which app or player you need to view your content.

At this time here is the status of using VR with an Apple device:

    • - Google Cardboard - 3D videos are compatible using the Mobile VR Station App and iTunes with an iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5 and iPhone 5c
    • - HTC VIVE - Currently, Vive is only compatible with PCs.
    • - Samsung Gear – Only compatible with Samsung Galaxy devices (Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6/S6 Edge/S6 Edge+, Galaxy S7/S7 Edge or Galaxy Note 7)
    • - Oculus Rift - Currently, Oculus Rift is only compatible with PCs.
  • Can I still watch your videos if I don't have a VR headset?

You will be able to play our videos in any player, but without the special viewing devices (Gear, Oculus, Cardboard, Vive), the videos will look a little wonky. You'd be best to enjoy the videos at Yanks.com, which are specially produced for traditional flat viewing, until you get your headset.

  • I have another player. Will it work on YanksVR?

We cannot control, support or guarantee players outside of those we recommend and have tested with. However, due to the of the standards of VR video many players should work just fine.

  • Why can’t I download videos or why are they are taking so long to download?

VR files are significantly larger than HD or even 4k videos files. This is due to the number of cameras used to make a VR video and the data that those cameras produce to give you an exceptional 360 VR or 3D VR experience.

If you are downloading on a phone, make sure that your WiFi is turned on. If downloading on a phone you may also want to prevent your phone from going to sleep, which will stop the download process.
To do this on iOS, go to Settings > General > Auto-Lock.
To do this on Android, go to Settings > Display > Screen Timeout > Set timeout to "Never." Please note that the download will also stop if you leave the app.

  • My videos just don't look right. What should I do?

At YanksVR, we produce both 360 monoscopic and 180 3D videos. You may need to change the settings in your player or app to view the video properly.
For example, if your 3D video looks flat or your 360 video is not offering a full 360 degree experience, your settings are not correct. Another indication is that the watermark is an unreadable mess at the bottom of your video.
See the help page for the specific device you are using for more info.

Samsung Gear

  • What is Samsung Gear?

The Samsung Gear VR is a mobile virtual reality headset developed by Samsung Electronics, in collaboration with Oculus, and manufactured by Samsung. When in use, a compatible Samsung Galaxy device (Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6/S6 Edge/S6 Edge+, Galaxy S7/S7 Edge or Galaxy Note 7) acts as the headset's display and processor, while the Gear VR unit itself acts as the controller, which contains the high field of view, as well as a custom inertial measurement unit, or IMU, for rotational tracking, which connects to the smartphone via micro-USB.

o Because there are so many 3rd party VR headsets we can’t track them all. If your device isn’t listed make sure to check the website for the particular manufacture of your device for help.
o Additionally, make sure all updates are downloaded and installed on your device, computer and phone. If they are, a restart of the device or your PC never hurts.

YanksVR's Philosophy ~ by Billie (a girl)

  • Girls are Beautiful! - We film all types of sexy, fun-loving girls. We look for sexy bodies, pretty faces and great personalities. While our hotties come from all walks of life, they all have that "IT" factor.
  • 100% Female Produced - With over 14 years of filming women's pleasure we have learned that women sexually express themselves more freely when another girl is behind the camera.
  • Freedom is Sexy - Our videos are unscripted. We let the girls play the way they do at home. Real girls and no rules equals real orgasms.
  • No Wham-Bam Thank you Ma'am at YanksVR - Before we shoot one second of video we take our time and get to know the girls we are going to present to you. What they like about sex, what they fantasize about and how they like to be touched.
  • Real Orgasms - Everything I mentioned above is all to get that money shot. You want to see girls cum together and by themselves. For that, there is no place like YanksVR.
  • Be a Holistic Company - When it comes to Virtual Reality, YanksVR is constantly on the cutting edge. When it comes to social responsibility we are involved daily. When it comes to supporting the free speech of our industry we will always lend our support.

Love, Billie
XoXo
